Kraamzorg/ Dutch postpartum care is covered by the basic Dutch health insurance.
For the basic insurance, there is a co-payment (eigen bijdrage) of €5.40 per hour for kraamzorg in 2025.
Each insurance company offers supplementary packages
that cover these costs in full (100%).
